Clan Chief David Rose, 26th of Kilravock, matched funds raised by society members
Clan Rose International (CRI) council members were requested by a member asking about the possibility of sponsoring one of its clan athletes. Jason King made his qualification scores to enter the Masters at a Florida game in October 2024. After a business meeting with the CRI Board of Directors as well as Clan Chief David Rose, 26 Baron of Kilravock, Heir Apparent Genevieve Rose and Presiding Elder Katharen Quirk it was agreed unanimously that CRI would help sponsor Jason. Immediately after discussion began, Chief David Rose stated that whatever CRI put in to help with the sponsorship he would match it. During the Upper Tennessee Highland Festival on August 31st, in which Jason King was competing in the heavy athletics as well as his wife Morgan King, members of CRIs Board of Directors presented Jason with a check for $642.00. This was the total between Chief David's part as well as CRI and a few other members who donated money. This is the first official sponsorship for CRI.
