Channel 6's "Enquête Exclusive" Premieres “Scotland, Petroleum Rites and Tartans in the Most Festive Country in Europe.”
The program "Enquête Exclusive" on France's Channel 6 has just completed a documentary called “Ecosse, Petrole Rites et Tartans dans le Pays le Plus Festif d’Europe” or “Scotland, Petroleum Rites and Tartans in the Most Festive Country in Europe.” It’s a very comprehensive look of Scotland from Edinburgh to the Shetlands, with footage from Up Helly Aa, a pagan ritual, and the Lonach Highland Gathering and Games. The 55-minute program includes some scenes of Lord and Lady Forbes, Castle Forbes, the Lonach Highlanders, athletes at the Lonach Highland Gathering and Games, and about six minutes or so of the Clan Forbes Society visit to Castle Forbes.
