Top winner for historic piece, illustrated novel, or poem receives $300
Clan Buchanan International Announces a creative writing competition. Fictional subject must include a Buchanan (or Sept) and revolve around clan culture (but does not need be historic in nature). Consideration towards the most entertaining, interesting and thought-provoking pieces. All genres and writing formats considered: historic piece, comic / Illustrated novel, and poem. Competition is strictly only open to CBSI Wardens. Each entry must be original, unpublished fiction. Any use of A.I. or plagiarism will result in instant disqualification. Closing date Friday the 14th of June 2024. The society is offering a $300 cash first prize, $150 second place prize, and $50 third place prize.
